Yes, I raised this in 2016 - 6 years ago - are you saying it's invalid because of that? I've seen a drive to close a lot of tickets here on that basis, but speaking frankly, it's bullshit. In the last few weeks a lot of tickets I opened 7 or 8 years ago got closed - fine - but if you're saying the solution to this issue is an experimental headless mode branch, then it's no good - sorry. Is there a bounty that you guys are getting paid to close these tickets? If so, it's kind of crappy. Certainly...

That is not an ideal fix; if a file has been renamed on disk, this then requires that file to be removed from the project and re-added, and any file-specific settings need to be set again. A better solution would be to allow the rename. If a file already exists with the destination filename, update the file display in the project so it no longer shows it as non-existent. Otherwise, rename the non-existent file in the project anyway, but continue to show it as non-existent.

Can't really confirm as I raised this issue 7 years ago, and haven't used Windows since. Should be easy enough to test, even using print to pdf perhaps?

I have just tested this further, and the issue seems to be nothing to do with pasting, but actually is when a new file is created in a particular way. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new header file, test.h. 2. Click Edit -> Swap header & source (or F11 shortcut). 3. The file test.cpp does not exist, so you'll be prompted whether you want to create it. Do so. 4. Any inactive preprocessor code you enter into this new file will now be greyed out, regardless of your preference setting. It only happens...

The problem as per ticket #338 still recurs as of version SVN 11217. Have updated there with a screenshot of the latest backtrace. The issue here still recurs as of that version, too - here's the backtrace: In this case, to reproduce, I selected a word I knew would appear in a number of files ("erase") and did a search-replace to change it to some arbitrary test string, for all files in project, as per these settings: This happens with the project file as attached to the other ticket. Unfortunately,...
