Small error on my side. I didn't follow my own steps to reproduce exactly. The issue is still there. You select the content under URL, copy it with ctrl+c. While selected you press space bar and press ctrl+v ending up with "\<space> content". Now, removing the last character using backspace and typing a new letter, crashes whole environment. Also, another person noticed this bug on github now as well; under the mono bug thread: Link to github mono thread

Agreed, just tested it again and nothing crashed.
I have no plugins installed. Removed the config file as well. Same issue. I update arch regularly, but I don't know which package might be related to this. My guesses (if not keepass) would be gnome or wayland. If I find the time, I see if I can reproduce it in an Arch linux gnome VM. This way it would be reproducible on your end. But isn't the System.NullReferenceException already something that isn't handled properly in any case?
Hi Paul, thank you for your response. The current mono version seems to be 6.12.0. This is also the version, I got installed. Mono got upgraded back in 2022 (April) xsel got upgraded in Nov'22. This could maybe related. (version 1.2.0.20200527-2) Best Regards
Ok it's reproducible: Steps to reproduce: 1) Opening an entry Details menu appears (under URL, I got 127.0.0.1) 2) Highlighting the 127.0.0.1 and pressing ctrl+c to copy 3) pressing space and ctrl+v to paste 4) removing last character in line (here the '1') 5) pressing another number (e.g. 3) Constantly crashes keepass and with it the whole gnome desktop environment
Keepass crashes including Desktop Environment(?)
