I've had a mesh generated in MeshLab, but I need to export the mesh, with the texture/material intact. How on Earth do I do that? Every time I attempt, and import it to Blender, there is no texture or anything except the mesh! Uncool.

Nope. I've been struggling with how to do this for YEARS

I suck and don't know the answer to your question because I don't even know how to export a MeshLab texture. You apparently do; could you tell me? I looked at this thread hoping to get a solution to my question about how to export textures (which, when I asked, was ignored pout). Could you please tell me how you did that? I would be eternally grateful. =D

I, also, need to knoww how to get the texture, or texture file, from an existing .ply project. I simply need to apply the same texture used in MeshLab to a Blender project. Seems simple enough, but I sismply cannot find an answer fo how to do this.

I have a MeshLab file, saved as a .ply, and I need to open it in Blender, but keep the integrated textue. Any time I attempt, the model loads into Blender, but the texture doesn't. How do I do this?

I'm extremely new to tjis, so this is probably the epitome of a novice question. I apologize in advance. Im tryng to convert a ML project to a Blender project, but when I save the ML file as an .obj & open it in Blender, the mesh loads without the texture. How do I either extract the texture from the .ply file to be ale to load it into Blender or (better yet) save the ML file in a format that will merge the mesh & texture? I won't need to adjust eiher the texture, and only add a half-globe to the...

I used an online-tool to create a 3d mesh from 1 image so that I can customize a game object; the game's custom object creation-program requires .blend files, so I need a way to either just convert the whole file to a .blend or export the ML mesh to Blender & export the texture file to Blender & reassemble the object. I exported the ML project to Blender by saving it as an .obj, but tht only exports mesh data & not texture info; How do I either a. convert a ML project to a fully-functional .blend...
