If the default, beginner mode works for you, you can use GParted live (https://gparted.org) to resize the destination disk to the size you want. As for the k1 option, if you try it again, please take some photos about the error messages on the screen then post them. It's easier for us to understand well.
Which version of Clonezilla live did you use? What's the situation? We need more info. BTW, did you try testing Clonezilla live? E.g., >= 3.3.1-20 or 20251227-questing? https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
Could you please share the file "nvme0n1-pt.sf" (assuming the source disk in the image file is nvme0n1) in the image dir? I am curious what the line 14 is inside that file. Thanks.
Which version of Clonezilla live did you use? Have you tried testing Clonezilla live, e.g., >= 3.3.1-20 or 20251227-*: https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php They come with newer Linux kernel and especially the Ubuntu-based one has some non-free firmware. It might support your hardware better.
One question before we patch it, why you assign the option "--device-size 1S"? If you want to change the master key, the "cryptsetup " command should just be run like: "cryptsetup reencrypt /dev/${lk_dev_}" Isn't it?
