    Check to see if you have a program called disks. If you do, you should see your drive there. If you don't see it in you file manager, that means it isn't mounted. Then from the menu in Disks, click mount drive.

    I've had the same issue the odd time. uninstalling it and then installing it again fixed the issue.

    I like Brackets. It's open source, and comes in bother 64 and 32 bit versions.     I found this: What is ALSA driver? The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) provides kernel driven sound card drivers. It replaces the original Open Sound System (OSS). Besides the sound device drivers, ALSA also bundles a user space driven library for application developers. They can then use those ALSA drivers for high level API development. Was there a recent kernel update? If so, how do I replace the update with the one that was there before?

    I have a 2016 Acer Aspire ES1-521 with Peppermint 11 on it. An update took out the sound to my speakers. If I attach my TV with an HDMI cable and mirror the screens, then I can hear sound from a youtube video.
