If the absolute humidity is going to be reported with a percent sign, it needs some kind of signal to avoid people confusing it with the relative humidity, maybe like 18%a.

The formal release will need to include documentation that reveals which kind of percent it is, by weight or volume or what. If it is a non-standard unit but it turns out to be user-friendly, you can just call it the Edward scale. We'll see how long it takes NOAA to adopt it.

it seems to work great. It will take some time to get used to the significance of the number, but I'm happy to see it is a simple integer that's easy for people to get accustomed to.

If a weather source provides temperature and relative humidity, the absolute humidity can be calculated. Here is one page that provides a formula: https://carnotcycle.wordpress.com/2012/08/04/how-to-convert-relative-humidity-to-absolute-humidity/ The conversion does not seem to be sensitive to the barometric pressure within its normal range, although I'm no expert on the subject. I wish that Meteorologist would include an option to display absolute humidity. The relative humidity varies with the temperature, which varies in the course of a day and from one day to another. The result is that the relative humidity displayed in the morning does not give a consistent impression of how wet or dry the day is going to be (when there is no precipitation in the forecast). It seems like the absolute humidity expressed as a percent would accomplish that.

Most likely two separate API calls. And I have confirmed that Lat/Lon does not work, only Lat,Lon. But I think problem discussions might belong in the Help forum.

Lat,Lon works for me. Lat/Lon might not work. But my complaint is that the Keys tab in Preferences does not identify the last URL as NOAA. Maybe there should be a third column at the left listing the name the Locations tab's Weather Source menu uses for each service.

Many times it is useful to know how hot it is going to get during the day, or how cold it is going to get overnight. So it would be nice if the menubar temperature display could optionally include that number. Instead of 47°, when the temperature has started rising it would say 47°➔62° and when it has started dropping it would say 47°➔35°. Or 47°H62° and 47°L35°. To make it easy, switch at 3 AM and 3 PM regardless of the actual trend at the time.
