I did multiple tests with the 7-Zip 23.01 (2023-06-20) file manager on my Windows 10 22H2 PC today. I created an AES encrypted 7z file with a txt, pdf and jpg file. I opened this encrypted 7z file and double clicked one of the compressed files.
