Is that a thing that Snappy handles itself? 😕
Hello there, I was wondering if I could download New/Current drivers for one specific computer. Like create a DESKTOP-ABCDEF/ folder, and all of the non-Windows-native drivers would end up in the folder. I don't do formats often, but I do see the appeal of having the driveset "archived for life".
To resolve the issue, I identified that executing 7zG.exe directly resulted in an "Application Error" with STATUS_DYNAMIC_CODE_BLOCKED. This error is related to custom process mitigation rules. I used PowerShell to get the process mitigation settings with Get-ProcessMitigation -Name 7zG.exe and found that DisableWin32kSystemCalls was set to NOTSET, and BlockDynamicCode was set to ON. Setting DisableWin32kSystemCalls to OFF for 7zG.exe resolved the issue. Thanks to the hint about the 7zG.exe executable,...

It seems that "all the time": * Different archives still fail * At E:\Temp, E:\ and F:\ still commands fail * Only open commands work; nothing else
It's really as simple as that 😅 The command here won't do anything 😕 ... neither the plain Extract one
Windows 10.0.18363.836 / 7-zip 23.01 I think some older version used to work, but I cannot track it down exactly. How should I debug this?
It's hard to trigger an upgrade if you just use / add entries. You need to make a significant change, like the encryption method and this should never be done without having a known good backup. I understand that this may be the case from your point of view (as a developer, I assume?). I also trust that "you did the absolute best in keeping your logic minimal, sound, and verifiable". However, I cannot/will not keep carrying that knowledge with me from now until the point that "something" breaks,...
