Using the GUI (vs. the command-line), the new ScalerTest 1.2 (compared to 1.1) doubles the resolution of the preview and the saved files for me. I guess it is related to my display set to 200% scaling (Windows).

also "ScalerTest_Windows" is constantly returning with "bad allocation table" on the images I've tried and won't load them Try re-saving (load/save) them without resampling using something like ImageMagick, if you need to process many images. Otherwise try loading/saving from Photoshop or GIMP.
