    It happend very often. Then when I was waiting for a crash to report it stopped. I will try and find out more about what I do. I tried to reproduce this after the crash, but it did not crash again.

    Wow, this took long. But here it is. I copied and pasted a bibtex entry into one of two open bibs. Then I dragged it over to another bib. This is the crash report.     It is like making an appointment with a doctor: once you have the appointment, the symptoms are gone. I had several crashes per day but now there is no crash since I reported the bug. I will send the next crash report available.

    Thanks! I have been using the booktitle automatic fill in for some time, but the datamodel check of biber/biblatex complains about the booktitle for books. For this they are using "collection" and "collection" also does not have a "booktitle" but a "title", which is then taken to be the "booktitle" value of the "incollection" items if crossref is used. I think biber/biblatex is advanced technology and it would be good if bibdesk would support this.
