Hi there, Are there issues after the PC hibernated while encrypting a non-system disk, then resumed upon waking up to complete the process? To detail more here is what happened: 1. I was encrypting a non-system drive using VeraCrypt and forgot to put on the AC cord so the PC hibernated without me clicking Pause or Defer. 2. I have just found a solution! Solution: Do not use Auto-Mount Devices; Mount by Select Device..., choose the proper device path (example: /dev/sdc1) and then click Mount. Enter the volume password and then the sudo password. I have used the auto-mount option for more than 4 years now so I decided to do the longer route just a few minutes ago. With the auto-mount before, it took me about 5 mins to mount/decrypt on a USB 2.0. Now, with the Select Device... + Mount method, the decrypting took only 5...

Yes, @mike, ours are definitely related. I also have a dual boot system but that hadn't affected my VeraCrypt up to until I upgraded into 20.04 from 18.04. I don't use my Windows 10 partition, that much, though, but I have VeraCrypt on another PC with Windows 10. I have just accessed/mounted my drive onto that without any problems. I have been using Veracrypt for a lot of years now and this is the first time I have experienced this issue. It is relatively slow to start and the program asks the input of the administrator password many, many times even after entering the password correctly.
