This is the solution! Simply modify the XML configuration file in the node Configuration / Integration /AutoTypeAbortOnWindows and you get a warning pop up when a forbidden windows is the target! @dreichl: You are the best!

@dreichl Is this even a solution if you use CTRL-V? I thought that the element that last had the focus would receive the input information. @pail459 OK, I see. In addition to CTRL-V, which I use exclusively (because it requires less configuration effort and the other reason see below), there is also the global auto-type hot key. In my opinion, the above approach from Dominik would be the appropriate solution only for the hot key variant, or am I wrong? However, the hot key is probably not the solution...

Hello everyone, Is there actually a global blacklist for Auto-Type in which I can enter applications (via Windows title or similar) that are generally excluded from Auto-Type? It has somtimes happened to me that my mail application has stupidly become an Auto-Type target, which has of course triggered various functions via the keyboard shortcuts. That's really annoying.
