"I don't think I'm being paranoid" I think you are.
I use AutoHotKey (a lot!) to automate complicated/tiresome tasks. You need to be a bit of a programmer to use it. SomNamNaa
Thank you very much! I have written over 500 AutoHotkey macros - none to do with MediaInfo - so this is a great one to add to my collection. There are some very interesting commands in here that I've not used before.
This is what I just found in my Windows 10 "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" folder AFTER I got it to work. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back and update the post. The MSCOMCTL.OCX in here from the XP machine was copied to C:\Windows\SysWow64 The MSCOMCTL.OCX that was in here was renamed to MSCOMCTL original.OCX The problem was that trying to run MP3Gain caused this error displayed: Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid So after copying...
I'm running Windows 10 v. 20H2 build 19042.746 I downloaded and ran the "full" version from here: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/download.php It appeared to install OK, but when I ran it, I got this error: "Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" Please help.
@Jeff Harris Was this on Android?
Was this on Android?
On Windows 10, I can clear the "recent safes list" and, when I try to open a safe, Password Safe looks in "My Safes" folder which, of course, I never use. On Android, I can clear the "recent safes list" and, when I try to open a safe, Password Safe goes to the same folder that had the last safe in it. So there's not much point in clearing the "recent safes list" if you want to hide your safe in a folder.
