Hey Lawrence, First, it seems this project is no longer in development, but I still have have it working in windows 10. To answer your question though, there is not a plus (+) button, but you can open a new tab by just double clicking on the tab bar (not a tab itself, but the empty tab bar space), this will make a copy of the current tab you have focused at the time.
