When we are using the plugin: EditEntryGroup, if we try to open any historical record on the History tab of an entry, the application crashes with an error message.
Hi Alex and Paul, thank you for having had a look into this. I understand what you are saying Alex, however, why does it behave differently when there are multiple entries for that website, and in that case it is not being minimized and it is staying open showing all the options ? And when there is just 1 option, it cannot display it ? I wish there was something that could be done to change the behavior, since as it is, it's not reliable enough to be used.
Hi Paul, thank you for putting your time to test this further. So, indeed you came to the same conclusion, as I did, that the AutoTypeShow plugin is not working correctly when the option "Minimize main window after performing auto-type" is selected. Is there a way to contact the plugin developer to ask to see if a code change can be made to address this ?
Hi Paul, I find this hard to believe that is related to my computer. Since this is triggered by a specific option on Keepass, it works fine if "Minimize main window after performing auto-type" is not selected. Also, I have tested this in a different computer, and the results are the same. I am using Windows 10 on both computers that I used to test, and at least Horst is using Windows 11, so I am not sure if this is the differentiator factor, or if someting else is at play. Is there any kind of logs...
Hi Paul, thank you for your reply. I don't have any installation of Keepass on my computer, and never had. I am using a Portable configuration for daily use. Checking the place (%APPDATA%) where the "KeePass.config.xml" file should be, if I had any installatiion, that file does not exist. As I said, this is very easily reproducible, if you follow the simple steps of my last comment. Appreciate the time and effort that you put into supporting Keepass.
Hi Horst, thank you for testing again. Since you are not getting the same results that I am getting I decided to perform the test on the cleanest Keepass application as possible, so I did the following: 1 - Downloaded portable version of Keepass again from: https://keepass.info/download.html 2 - Downloaded plugin (AutoTypeShow) again from: https://sourceforge.net/projects/autotypeshow/ 3 - Created a new blank database and used the default entries that comes with the empty database (Sample Entry and...
Hi Horst, thank you for your feedback. It seems that maybe you are trying with a different use case. See bellow my relevant system settings: - KeePass 2.52 - AutoTypeShow 1.0.0.0 - Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2364) The behavior I have is the following: Scenario 1 with: "Minimize main window after performing auto-type" SELECTED and 1 entry for that URL: - I press the hotkey: Ctrl + Alt + Z - a window shows briefly (less than half a second) and closes imediately to tray Scenario 2 with: "Minimize...
