This may be helpful for others: after extensive fiddling around in the ASIO4All settings, we found that, for the Sennheiser PC8.2 USB headset in particular to work correctly, Hardware Buffer needs to be enabled. So, after all this, the member who purchased this headset now has working sound as well...! This problem can be marked as solved, but please leave the thread online for future reference.
Dear community, We are using Jamulus to allow choir rehearsals to continue during times of human malware (you know what I mean, I won't be saying the word here). I am helpint people to set up Jasmulus to work for them. I use a Mac myself, and have had absolutely no issue getting things to work. In Windows, things can be tricky when it comes to getting specific sound chips to work nicely with the ASIO4All driver. Some work nicely, some simply refuse to work. The latter group is, unfortunately, expanded...
Hi, Could you do this on my behalf? You can use the text below as a guide: Describe the bug There's a quite significant mistake in the Dutch translation of Jamulus. It's mostly apparent on Windows, because of the way ASIO4All works. If a Windows user goes to Settings, there'll be a Device selection, and an Input and Output Channel selection. Input channel mapping is correctly translated as Invoerkanaal mapping. Output channel mapping is translated as Uitvoerkanaal in kaart brengen, which is wrong....
Just wanted to point out a quite significant mistake in the Dutch translation of Jamulus. It's mostly apparent on Windows, because of the way ASIO4All works. If a Windows user goes to Settings, there'll be a Device selection, and an Input and Output Channel selection. Input channel mapping is correctly translated as Invoerkanaal mapping. But, for some strange reason, Output channel mapping is translated as Uitvoerkanaal in kaart brengen, which is utterly wrong. I would most certainly like to see...
Bump: The connection limit issue seems solved. It turned out that the appropriate modifications to the command line had been made, just not in the right spot. I remain open to suggestions as to whether it is possible to configure this and other options through the .ini file. Also, can someone fill me in on the uses of the newly added -T switch? It hasn't been properly documented yet. I've heard that it optimises Jamulus to use multithreading more effectively, but the description for the switch also...
Hello all, I'm asking this question on behalf of my choir's MD, who has a Jamulus Server running and is seeking to increase its maximum number of connections from 10 (the default) to 50 (supposedly the maximum number of somultaneous connections). Before I start elaborating on what I've tried to get things to work, let me just clarify that my MD is running the software on Windows 10, and that her internet connection should be well and truly up to the task. She has a 200mbps symetric fibre connection,...
