    In the file "bwb_var.c", lines 112 to 116: dimensions++; while (line_skip_seperator (l)); { dimensions++; } The semicolon in line 113 seems wrong to me.

    Brian Tiffin [2017-11-16 16:52]: Forum members, would you rather see Report Writer or (trivial in comparison in my opinion) ACUCOBOL non-standard features being worked on first? Personally, the Report Writer, without doubt. For me, AcuCOBOL-specific features are not interesting, I have never used that compiler. Others may find them useful. -- Hilsen Harald

I couldn't find the final version, this is just a first try (if I remember right, this was 30 years ago). Anyway, here it is attached. Public domain. Hilsen Harald

    Brian Tiffin [2017-07-21 17:32]: Just clownin', Hilsen, but I grew up on OpenVMS/VAX, and well, competed with VAXen, some thought them much better. /them be fightin' words!/ :-) Rock, scissors, paper, at dawn. I never used VAXen professionally (Norsk Data/Sintran, HP3000/MPS, Honeywell-Bull/GCOS), but I run one as a simh guest. Some really good concepts in VMS. Too bad the economies of scale put paid to the very well engineered middle ground of mini computers; so much less like toys than what most...

Cobol (in this case COBOL-74) for the Norsk Data minicomputers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norsk_Data. Great machines, ran their own Sintran OS, dominated the Norwegian market, competed with VAXen, some thought them much better. The Cobol (74) had its own screen handling system, not compatible with SCREEN SECTION. They had a COBOL-85 with SCREEN SECTION, which I never used. Hilsen Harald
