Legion Y540-15IRH gaming laptop. Model 81SX. I’m currently running Windows 10 Home x64 Build 18364. I'm using BOIS version BHCN33WW, which is not the newest version. I had to rollback do to graphics card issues.

I've started to get the issue again with hibernation, though less consistent now. I checked Event Viewer again more thoroughly and found these errors occur each time upon boot after hibernation fails. “Windows failed to resume from hibernate with error status 0xC000009A.” “The previous system shutdown at 3:18:53 PM on 2/4/2021 was unexpected.” “The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. I have found a temporary fix to this issue. I found a discussion thread with a similar problem where a system that had Windows updated was hibernated, then was not able to boot into Windows, though fixed by re-encrypting the system partition. I performed this and hibernation is working again as it should. Though this unfortunately means I’ll have to re-encrypt the system partition after every update for hibernation to continue to work, so I wouldn't consider this issue solved.

I encrypted my system partition with hibernation working fine after encrypting. However it now has randomly started to fail to resume from hibernation everytime I try to. I have updated windows sometime after encrypting, but not sure if that effects anything. Though a previews thread shows it could be an issue. I checked Event Viewer and found this error.
