Otherwise, if the external DJ wants to contribute to a VOIP call, his audio must be treated as a microphone channel - which is perfectly reasonable. So my initial use case might not exist anymore... Sorry!

Even if this thread is quite old, I do hope it helps somebody. :-) It certainly does. Using your settings, I even was able to use netjack to send the audio from idjc from the Raspberry Pi 3 to another computer running another instance of idjc. Thus, the litte Pi can, e.g., be used for a co-host / co-DJ playout station - which we found quite useful.

Works as expected, everything seems to work fine. Effects panel can be detached via menu entry. It can freely be moved to a second screen. Reattachment also works fine. Thank you very much!
Hello Stephen, thank you very much for having this done so quickly. I've run a couple of tests with the current dev version, this new feature as itself works as expected. However, I discovered a minor drawback: During announcement playback, all keyboard input now is directed to the main application. Unfortunately, this also includes the Enter/Return key aswell as the (is most cases individually bound) playlist-advance key. Is it possible to route these keys to the announcement window? Otherwise,...
