Hi, On my work we use ramdisk for mounting databases in Sql Server. For my home project I tried ImDisk. SQL Server can't create databases on ram disk created by Imdisk. It says "An unexpected error occurred while checking the sector size for file 'r:\MSTGCARKCA.mdf'. Move the file to a local NTFS volume, where the sector size can be retrieved' The disk is formatted with NTFS, works in Explorer. Could you fix this please?

Steve, Sorry for being focused :) Agree with all what you've said. Indeed, the software worked with empty database. But I accidentally broke that part in script by myself. Just re-installed and all worked. Thank you very much!

Hi Steve, Please add an option to skip checking of database existance. The tool wants to create the database by itself, but for tests we use large RAM disk to avoid wasting of SDDs and create test dbs on RAM drive. Some customers maybe would like to create a database spanned over several volumes etc. IMHO, creating default db by the tool's script is very basic and needless step.
