A CVE has been detected even with the latest version of the tool regarding the used OpenSSL stuff (ssleay32.dll). "you were able to do lanplus previously with ipmiutil-3.1.2 Yes, i downloaded all releases from your sites .The ipmiutil 3.1.2 release (64bit windows), found underIPMIUTIL FILES, has always worked for me ( and older versions ). Just the newer once since 3.1.3 were not working!

Thank you ! I wont come to testing this week, but hopefully early next week i have something new. " but I would like this run with from the same directory as the DLLs from test.zip for consistency." i did that. I first forgot this but the output was generated with the download version of 3.17, with copied test.zip dlls and util exe from the last post.

Hey @arcress :) i uploaded new debug data for you :) BTW this is another vendor, so we can say for sure its not a vendor related problem :) GeneralData contains vendor information if necessary, and i attached debug outputs of the health/sensor command.

Sadly the same crash happend "not working anymore" :/ downloaded the 3.17 and replaced your test content in it. Here is the -x output !

Hey Andy, https://sourceforge.net/p/ipmiutil/discussion/397223/thread/f0a8ef23b4/ We already discussed the crashes in ipmiutil 3.14 with remote connections using the lan2 way. You fixed that in terms no crash is happening ( or very seldon) BUT it is still not working. Even if it dont crashes with 3.17 you simply cannot pull data via lan2 from a remote system ( like VMWARe esx ). If i use 3.12 with the same data it is working perfectly fine!! I attached debug sensor commands for both 3.12 and 3.17...

This seems to work again :) Awesome!! Now i am looking forward to the latest version of ipmiutil with all new improved stuff since 3.1.2 and working for windows again :)

Hello Andy, SInce IPMIUtil version 3.13 IPMIutil is not working anymore when using lan2 oder lan2i drv type!! It just crashes with "stopped working" [cid:image001.png@01D60D94.65BE9CC0] IPMIUtil 3.12 is the last version working!! Thank you for fixing this!!

Hey :) The Intel BMC has its own web interface and from what i have heard, the status is shown there perfectly fine! I will keep that issue (with resources) in mind and will report it back. Thank you :)

Oh sorry i mixed seperate issues together. So 3.14 crashed. I guess you are right, this could be due to a bad openssl linking. The other question was asked version independent. I got one esx system which Intel BMC is returning this -1 error and the log is attached in the start post. Nothing to do with the 3.14 crash. 3.12 version works fine for nearly every system. I just wanted to ask if you have any idea where the problem could lie with the -1 and the -x log. Bad configuration? Network Problems?...

Hello Andy First i just wanted to inform you, that i found a possible bug in the latest (3.14) version of ipmiutil. Could not test the new 3.15 . On Windows if you use the driver type lan2 it crashes (the process). If I use 3.12 lan2 works perfect. Just want to let you know. Now I got a question regarding “error -1”. What are the most common causes of this? I attached an report of a remote system where no data is returned, instead with all drv types (lan2, ms , etc) i just get an error -1. I attached...
