sudo cmod and the contrab commands are not recognized. I'm no coder, but just a rookie, LOL. I find the CPU performance on the RPi5 only modestly improved over the RPi4. 73' Ron Op do 30 nov 2023 om 01:38 schreef Cemaxecuter cemaxecuter@users.sourceforge.net: Can you give this a try? I’m reading that officially there is no support yet, but this guy has a script to control it. You could manually try to change it or follow his guide. I’m still waiting for the fan to show up. Im assuming the fan has...
The Raspberry cooler has a 4 wire connector (PWM) that plugs on to the board and is temperature controlled by the software. The figures I wrote you are originated from htop. regards, Ron Op wo 29 nov 2023 om 13:02 schreef Cemaxecuter cemaxecuter@users.sourceforge.net: Thank you for checking, I’ll go try all the same on my end. I have a cooler coming this week, so maybe there’s some package or controlling software that can help with that? I just assumed it’s a two wire connection like power and ground...
Hi, No problems when booting on the RPi5/4Gb. The Raspberry original cooler keeps running at full speed, even when there was no cpu load. only 51% memory was available when no progs are running except Psensor. When using SDR++ with a RTL on 1024 Mb BW the cpu load went up to 82% and only 32% free memory was left. When running a 1080 K video on youtube full screen, the cpu load was 52% and only 17% free memory was left. I guess a 8 Gb Pi5 will be better suited for running DragonOS, and my 4Gb seems...
Thanks for the heads-up and taking an interest. I will be glad to test the new version. My Pi5 should be delivered today. It is a 4Gb model as I could not get my hands on the 8Gb version. Seems that there is a 16 Gb model in development, but is that not a bit over the top for a small Linux machine? I see my Pi4B with 8Gb never use the whole available memory. Break a leg. Is the raspberry pi5 tested on dragon_os?
