(removed my post since it was not corresponding to the title, but in essence the problem is still there with Update3 on CentOS, it seems this tool requires admin access no matter what)
1.24-Update 3 requires sudo to mount container locally
removed
Hello, I'm using veracrypt 1.24-Update3 on CentOS 7, and trying to mount a container file locally still requires root access. I've also tried to add this to the sudoers but it does not work around the problem: users ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/veracrypt, /usr/bin/uptime ex: veracrypt --mount ~/mycontainer ~/mnt (from a root account, this works so it's not a problem of file or anything else) This was installed from veracrypt-1.24-Update3-CentOS-7-x86_64.rpm Any help appreciated!
