Hi Cemaxecuter, What I ended up doing was setting up a dual boot with DragonOS_FocalX_R37.1 Thanks for the link to the fork, I will try it out and see what happens in DragonOS_Noble_R5. For now, R37.1 allows me to use QSpectrumAnalyzer and soapy_power until I can find an alternative tool in Noble_R5. Cheers.

Hi Cemaxecuter, I also booted up with the Live usb and checked with - ~$ SoapySDRUtil --info Same output as my last post, so pretty sure installing rtl-power-fftw didn't mess up anything. Searched around on the web, someone just copied the SoapySDR folder into the path that python was looking for. Not sure if that would break future updates (probably). Is the fix as simple as adding this: ? export PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:/usr/local/lib/SoapySDR Or am I going to have to create a symlink? Not sure how...

    Hi Cemaxecuter, So close to getting this back to where I was. When I execute, ~$ soapy_power -f 470.0M:608.0M -B 50.0k -n 19200 -d driver=rtlsdr -r 2000000.0 -w 2000000.0 -p 0 -g 18.0 -k 25 -F rtl_power_fftw --even --fft-window boxcar --remove-dc I get this output. Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/bin/soapy_power", line 5, in <module> from soapypower.main import main File "/usr/local/lib/python3.12/dist-packages/soapypower/main.py", line 5, in <module> import simplesoapy File "/usr/local/lib/python3.12/dist-packages/simplesoapy.py",...

Hi Cemaxecuter. I installed a fresh version last night. This morning using GQRX for testing I first plugged in my old Terratec, which worked. Then I plugged in the Airspy mini, it too works. Plugged in the V4 Blog. It showed up in the drop down list as "RTLSDRBlog Blog V4 SN:00000001. Selected it, and was good to go. So yes, I can confirm it's good to go out of the box. I guess I borked it when I followed the website install instructions. Which now are no longer needed. Cheers.

Hi, Having issues getting my Rtl-Sdr V4 Blog going. Was wondering which rtl-sdr drivers come pre-installed with DragonOS 24.04 Noble. I know there is a modified Osmocom driver with enhancements for RTL-SDR Blog V3 and V4 units. Is that driver the one that comes already installed? I assumed that it didn't so I used the install directions from their website as I have before but it seems to break things. The pre-install process seems heavy handed in it's use of purge and rm. Cheers.

Cemaxecuter, No worries, glad you're willing to give it another look. If it's not possible I guess I will have to roll up my sleeves and see if I can pipe the output to PyQtGraph or some other plotter. Cheers.
