It would seem that active development of Data Crow has ceased and would recommend looking for alternative software/tools for the job. E.g for movie cataloging there is available a excellent and free Eric's Movie DataBase (EMDB).

Just for testing purposes, deleted a few old and disabled News Filter's from RSSOwlnix, and to my surprise, now the Setting Import process works as expected. :)

Hello, I am receiving the following error when attempting to restore an OPML backup configuration file with RSSOwlnix-2-7-1-win32.win32.x86_64. Unable to Import. Reason: For input string: "" I got around this by restoring the older 2.7.0 version's data folder @user.home/.rssowlnix-beta. Any idea what might be causing this issue? Thanks!

Guess it's pretty safe to say that it is Lucene search engine that is starting to show its age here. About more examples, can't think of much more relevant to add, as in, my feeds contain item after item of posts which all contain the text <li>Rating: <span style="font-weight:bold; color:#FFAA2A;">x.x</span></li> and then some description text to go with it. I then filter all these posts with the following RSSOwl search criterias *Rating 7.* & *Rating 8.* (as no other searches I have tested provide...

Hi and thx again for the advice. Been testing combining different search conditions as suggested, but still no luck finding a 100% working combination. My hunch still is that this has something to do with the HTML tags /li and /Span, and how RSSOwls search engine appear to have problems catching text that has been "enchanted" by these formatting tags. Is it possible for you Xyrion to comment on this theory from the RSSOwl's code's perspective; Could HTML tags play a factor with RSSOwls searches?...

Hi and thx for the input Xyrio. Unfortunately changing the search criteria from contains to contains any of, does not provide better results. The best outcome I have managed to archieve so far is by adding couple searches on a News Filter with conditions like Entire News > contains > *Rating 7.* . This search catches maybe +90% of posts the posts I am looking for, but there are also some "false positives" included, as I presume the search with * wildcard tends to match other pieces of the posts as...
