I find it rather unfortunate that given that Fortran 90 has been around since the 90's, it seems makepp cannot yet handle it. Does anybody have a scanner for Fortran 90 and a way to figure out dependencies not based on "include", but on use <module-name> ? Any other hints appreciated.

Thanks for replying. And, yes, I tried again just now and it worked...temporary glitch, I guess. Thx.

I guess visitors are not authorized to create tickets, by default. So, here it is under Discussion: $ grep -i scaling *.* | grep "to small" graphutils.cpp: err_msg=QObject::tr("Scaling for X-axis to small, X-interval increased."); graphutils.cpp: err_msg+=QObject::tr("Scaling for Y-axis to small, Y-interval increased."); Regards, Germán

Hi, Andreas: Yes, this version fixes the issue I was having. Thank you very much for all your attention. For a program that has not seen a release in 4 years, I wasn't sure I was going to get any kind of response...boy, was I wrong; I received the best. Will let you know if I find anything else. Thanks again for everything. Regards, Germán

Oh, boy...I am afraid that trying to compile this project in Windows is a bit of a tall order for me, at this very time. As mentioned, I am coming from the Linux parallel universe and, even so, through the MSYS2/MinGW64 portal, to ease my entry; otherwise, I have never used Visual Studio, either, which seems to be the de-facto development thing developers use on Windows...for now, I am sticking to the GNU Toolchain. So, yeah, I would very much appreciate if it was you who re-builds QtGrace and makes...

Hi, Andreas: First of all, thanks for keeping up with me. Unfortunately, I don't know how to work with pipes, either; not a show stopper, though, as you indicated, I looked into batch mode. I looked into the one program that uses xmgrace and noticed that they were taking a 2-step approach. 1. They put together an *.agr file 2. Open and shut a non-gui/interactive xmgrace session; during such session, they send another 20 commands: the first one loads the *.agr file...the last one prints the plot....

Thanks for such a prompt reply. The reason why I asked was precisely because I had tried command-line help (-h, --help) and got nothing back; but, re-directing the output to a file worked...weird, but very good news. Thanks for that trick. Now, I may continue to look into this further. As mentioned, it looks like the one program of ours uses Grace in batch mode, launching it in non-gui mode, assemblying commands and executing; it looks like our program links to the grace library (grace_np.h / libgrace_np.so)...
