Hi I have this equation: solve(2x+SIN(x)=2pi,x); That has the solution x = Pi. Reduce is giving me the solution: {y = root_of(0.5 • sin(y_)+y_-3.14159,y_,tag_2)} Is there a way to make Reduce give the numeric solution x = Pi ? Sami Al-beik
I might be completly off here - but i'm just thinking instead of removing the printer option wouldn't it be possible to simply implement a PDF-print option, that converts each page to a bitmap option and from there insert each page on a pdf. As long as the dpi is high enough its a fine solution for most cases, and usually much easier to implement programaticly. I have been told by a canon employee that Apples air-print actually just converts everything to a high dpi bitmap, and that seems to be good...

WOW :D ...Thanks thats awesome. I didn't expect it to finish. I would have thought that the terminal would be unresponsive if it was actuallt calculating. Honestly i did think that it was a bug and that it somehow ended without a output. Like a missing if/else statement that didn't catch the error. What worries me a bit, is that this equation is taken from a high-school exam :) . THey don't expect it to be solved exact, but they counted on solve to work like other CAS applications, which i now discover...
