Hi Ricky, The product file was created in excel and I am just unsing the unicenta interface to import the file (the simple way lol) I just selected the wrong item from the dropdown menu into 'import csv file' section. I should have selected 'tax standard' in the drop down menu. I just wanted to clear it all and start afresh.

Hi, I would like some help regarding a CSV file I uploaded. 1)In the tools option there is an option for uploading the CSV file, I uploaded it selecting the correct fields. However in the tax category I selected tax exempt. So now all the products are showing as tax exempt rather than showing the 20% VAT. I want to upload a fresh CSV file so I have tried clearing using 'clear import log' . This didnt make any difference. I have also tried uploading the same CSV file thinking it may overwrite existing...

There is a software called Epson OPOS ADK that I initially installed from the Posligne website. Maybe this is interfering?

Hi RickyO I have had a look and the baud rate is 9600, data bits: 8, parity: none: stop bits:1 and flow control: none. All the setting seem to be correct as I have been on the posligne website and had a look. Do you think that there are programs interfering with each other? Ideas? Regards Safraz

Hi, Currently the epos machine I have is a Posligne Odyssey 2 running Windows 7 Pro. With Unicenta OPOS 4.1. I am having difficulty getting the customer display working correctly. I have gone into configuration > peripherals > customer display and I have selected epson, model:file and port: comm 4 However the customer display is full on C's with commas underneath it. I did however manage to get it working for a day and then since then its gone back to the problem mentioned above. I hope someone can...

yes installed mysql. do you mean the destination folder for the export? Yes this was set to a bin folder and exported it. Then copied the folder onto USB drive, plugged it into epos machine and imported. Just showed errors and errors, about 50 of them. I might have to do it all manually again unfortunately

Hi, Last week I discovered Unicenta OPOS (and what have I been missing all these years) and decided to set it up on my laptop to test it out to see whether it is suitable to my needs. It so happens I love it and got so carried away on my laptop I created all the categories and products with detailed info, pricing and pictures. Hi guys, I hope you all are well. I run a retail store and I am have been looking aroung for an epos software and I came across Unicenta opos. However I am finding it harder to get setup than originally thought. I have downloaded it, tried to install it and it came up with a readme file which was quite handy. I have completed step one: Have some patience when you first start out and try to follow these simple steps... Make sure you have the correct Java JRE Runtime installed for your Operating System....
