  I have the exact issue. I bought both the PC and Android versions of the app. I tried to connect via Wi-Fi using FacePoseApp but no matter what i do it gives me timeout while pinging so no luck on this. Then I tried USB via Android USB tracker. It worked but with 10 FPS. So i decided to use DroidCam which is working perfectly fine. FaceTrackNoIR sees the phones camera using the webcam utility, but when I'm trying to use faceAPI it states TERMINATED. I read somewhere to look for the .exe in its destination...
