I am using a cinnamon desktop and some "unstable" packages with the original Feb 2022 PEP release ISO but I found bluetooth connection success by adding the package " libspa-0.2-bluetooth " using synaptic package manager. This package is needed by pulseaudio to work with pipewire. Perhaps it should get included on the ISO with the rest of the bluetooth stack? Previously, the bluetooth device would show up but would fail upon connection. I am using bluetooth version 5.66-1 and added libspa-0.2-bluetooth...

Just a shot in the dark... what are your power managements settings? Have you set the power button option to "shut down immediately"?
