I have been able to view heat exchanger enthalpy plots/curves in the classic user interface only when using minimum pinch temperature difference as the method. Can you advise how to get this feature activated for other exchanger solution methods and in the cross-platform interface? This feature is at the bottom of the heat exchanger object editor, with the caption "View Temperature vs Heat Exchanger Profile." Thanks!

Daniel, I did an initial install two weeks ago and a re-install of DWSIM today using DWSIM_bin_v834_setup_win7win8win10_64bit.exe. I have a laptop with Win-11 and Excel is installed. This feature of ExcelUO is very helpful. I hope to get the installation fixed. Any input is appreciated. I have tried the classic interface and cross-platform. Both appear to have problems that I am fairly sure is associated with the Excel add-in, which I activated in MS Excel. I will keep looking for tips. Thanks in...

I have the same issue. I am trying to use the Excel interface to create a custom unit-op that will take the water inlet, and separate this into two streams on the outlet side. My attempts to get Excel connected have all failed. I added the Excel add-in to MS Excel. The error messages keep pointing to files with Daniel's path. If you have any tips, please help! This can work but is a bit cumbersome. The heat exchanger object should have the basic data for step-wise temperature-enthalpy plots. Are there any other options to use the chart function directly? Thanks!

This is a big help! I have recently switched to Manjaro and am so glad to have access to DWSIM.

Hi again Daniel, I followed the instructions to install on linux/debian as follows. 1. Install mono-complete mono-vbnc [ok] 2. Install via Gdebi the dwsim file. This did not work. I get a dependency error that cannot be reconciled. Here is the command line output. $ sudo gdebi dwsim_5.7.14-amd64.deb Reading package lists... Hi Daniel, I am trying hard to work out the interface problems with DWSIM 5.7.8 running on Linux Mint 19.1, Cinnamon desktop and 64 bit. I have it running on Win10 fine. It is fast and works great. On Linux, the new UI opens but no scrolling elevator bars are present to navigate the panel. The classic interface works fine - no problems. The lastest mono-complete is installed and mono-vbnc. The terminal provides these messages. Not sure if this helps. This message (below) repeats in the terminal each...
