I just installed VeraCrypt on a Rocky Linux machine. I have an encrypted space on a Truenas network share. This works without issue on my Win10 machine, but on the Linux machine I get: No such file or directory: <network share=""> VeraCrypt::File::Open:287</network> The path is correct and the encryption password is correct. I'm using Rock Linux v 9.5, VeraCrypt v1.26.14 Any suggestions? Thank you
I have a 1TB drive just lying around that I decided to put in a case. Then I decided to encrypt it. Why not, I can through it in my laptop back and use if needed. And since it's encrypted, I wouldn't worry about any data getting into the hands of someone who shouldn't have it. Now I've decided that I want to put a hidden volume on that drive as well. I've read the documentation on backing up a volume. It say's to create a new encrypted volume on my backup device, then copy the contents from volume A into the backup volume. This is really a pain in the ass and difficult to maintain. Can I not use backup software to backup the encrypted volume onto backup media? Will this corrupt the encrypted volume? Thanks
