Hi there I have just bought a PiTDM from SwitchPi and set it up with my Pi 3b. I ordered mine with 2xFXO ports and 1xFXS port and asked for a UK power adapter (which is 9V 1A). The 9V power supply powers the FXO and FXS boards and also powers the Pi so I removed my Pi 5v power supply. They provided me with two zip'ed image files that I can use Etcher to transfer onto a micro SD card. One is the Diguim GUI. The other is RasPBX. I got a spare microSD card and started testing the RasPBX image. The FXO...

I ordered the PiTDM (4xRJ11 port model) from SwitchPi on 9th July and DPD tried to deliver it on 19th. So 10 calendar days. That included the extra delay while SwitchPi ordered me a UK 9V power supply. They shipped using a courier called SF. I could never get the SF tracker to work so Xin sent me shipping updates. When it got to the UK I could track it with DPD.

Update... I got Pulse Dialling from rotary phones working on the SwitchPi FXS module. It was a config issue. I needed make sure /etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf has the following entry options wctdm dialdebounce=32 (wcdtm is how the SwitchPi PiTDM driver identifies itself) In the FreePBX GUI you do this with CONNECTIVITY->DAHDI CONFIG->MODPROBE SETTINGS and at the end is 'Other ModProbe Settings' The word dialdebounce goes in the first box and 32 goes in the 2nd box. So for the museum phone system I can...

My Pi and the PiTDM from SwitchPi sits in a plastic takeaway container. I cut holes for the cables and ventilation. A nice case would be better. I have made progress with the SwitchPi FXS module accepting pulse dial. Pulse dial is just a change to the On-Hook/Off-Hook state. So I tapped out the number I wanted using the hook button. 6 taps, a small pause, 10 taps, a small pause, 10 taps, a small pause, 2 taps. And Asterisk connected me to 6002 which was good. 10 taps takes me 1.5 seconds with my...

I needed make sure /etc/modprobe.d/dahdi.conf has the following entry options wctdm dialdebounce=32 (wcdtm is how the SwitchPi driver identifies itself) So for the museum phone system I can use a SwitchPi to dial out with Pulse Dial and I can use SwitchPi to process pulse dialing (LD dialling) from old telephones. So overall I'm really impressed. I'd been using RasPBX with ATAs for a while...
