It works. I removed the gz install and the deb file worked. It slowed around 60 for a bit then finished installing. Weird.

I don't have anything listed in /tmp/.webmin. Just the folder.

I had same problem trying to install the deb file. The gz file installs easily. But it misses the required files the deb install asks for. I didn't check the /etc/webmin folder but the gz file installed everything. Seems the hooks or links are incorrect? Stops at 85% like Keld says. With Spamassassin and Squid updates, webmin doesn't work. Looks like older versions will work. I got it installed and guess I gotta wait for the next update?
