Hello, I am curious about how Revit handles shared parameters in the generated shared parameter file. If I link an IFC file, created from Revit, into another Revit project, I see that Revit creates a shared parameter file. In that file and in Revit I see the same parameter been generated several times. Same parameter with different GUIDS. For example several times IfcExportAs or IfcExternal. That results in multiple same parameters in my Revit project. Question 1: Why is Revit creating multiple shared...
Hello, Can anyonne tell me why the Revit parameter 'Phase Demolished' will not be exported to IFC? Not when I export all Revit parameters and also not when creating a custom properties set for this parameter. When using also the custom properties set, the parameter '02_Phase_Demolished' , that is maped to the Revit parameter 'Phase Demolished', will stay empty. The parameter 'Phase Created' is exported correct. Kind regards, Robert
Hello, I use Revit and my building owner is using Solibri. Can anyone tell me how I get a shared parameter of Type URL from Revit into a custom properties set so I can select the link in Solibri. For my building owner I need to add documents (pdf's) to my objects so he can access them from his Solibri model. Kind Regards, Robert
Hello, I notesed that when opening a IFC 2x3 file into Revit that I get multiple IfcExportAs parameters in my Revit file. each with there own GUID. In the Revit Template File (from the Dutch Revit Standards) that I use for the conversion from Revit to IFC I have already the IfcExportAs shared parameter as a project parameter in it and connected to the correct Revit Categories. In the IFC file I have a few Walls, Columns and Pipe Segments. When opening the IFC file, after converting it, all te converted...
Hello, I use the laters 17.3.0.0 version of the IFC exporter. In our families we use the IfcExportAs parameter. Some customers want a IFC 2x3 file but others want to have the IFC4 file. There is a slide difference between the class named for IFC4 and IFC 2x3. IFC 2x3 has the 'Type' at the and of the name and IFC4 dos not. for example: for a Fan IFC 2x3 needs IfcFanType and IFC4 needs only IfcFan. I was wondering what is the best method to export to IFC4 and IFC 2x3 using only one IfcExportAs par...
I use the the IFC exportter 17.3.0.0. When I have a family which has the IfcExportAs parameter and the value "IfcSpaceHeaterType". Why is exported to the IFC class "IFCELECTRICHEATERTYPE"? When exporting it to IFC 4 it is exported correct to "IfcSpaceHeaterType" but when you export it to IFC 2x3 it is exported to "IFCELECTRICHEATERTYPE".
