I have noticed when displaying this star on version 4.3.0 it's location is different than where some other programs have it. For example astronomy.com, Wikipedia, earthsky.org etc.
Success, I was able to remove the installation, which wasn't straight forward. After that all went well with the re-install into the program files directory👍I also had to re install ASTAP and the D50 data base. I like to use HNSKY to select (click on) objects to image, NINA imports into its sequencer, and scope goes where it thinks it is, but isn't, then NINA uses ASTAP to plate solve and bingo the object and it's image is always centered. Now if I had a clear sky to try it all out... Thanks.
Yes, I will try the uninstall again, didn't work last time to correct the condition. Unknown as to why. I can try to install the themes version that might work as well. I shall report back here if I still have no solution. I figure there is a place in memory where the installers look to see if there is a path that pre exists and if so should ask if you want to install there, but I can't recall seeing that when I tried to load the update files else I'd have taken the option to change the destination...
Problem installing on windows machine. Software defaults to a Onedrive folder but it states it cannot find ... I have a second machine at the scope where when install updates launch it defaults to Program files without issue. Note that the software used to install fine on the windows laptop until Onedrive wanted money for more space and I tried to delete Onedrive, I have 4 T-bytes of my own space. So I think there must be some file somewhere defining where hnsky is to install, and I need to figure...
