Slideshow limited to 1000 seconds
OK thanks for trying. I'll raise it as an issue.
Are you able to explain why there's a 1000 second limit? From where I sit it could be simply not having dimensioned the variables to cope with bigger numbers. Nice round numbers like that tend to look a bit arbitrary.
That's a workaround, but not the same thing.
A slideshow is created when you add an image to the DVD. If you add images by inserting files you will create more slideshows. It might appear to you that each slideshow is in face a single slide, but it's not. Once you've created a slideshow by adding a single image you can add more images to that slideshow without creating new slideshows. In the slideshow you can adjust the interval between each slide and you can add an audio track to that slideshow. The duration of the slide show is limited to...
I can think of plenty of scenarios where a slide show of more than 15 minutes, accompanied by music, is both likely and reasonable. Often these are done with Powerpoint but why not with DVDs too? How hard would it be to change?
Why is the duration of the slide show set to a maximum of 1000 seconds? It makes the software unusable for some purposes.
