    So we have a Catch-22 - there tech support sent me here because the files work fine for them and thus the problem must be in 7zip ... edit1: So far it seems only Windows Explorer handles them correctly, tried a few other programs and a MAC Archive Utility without success. edit2: Further testing shows that Total Commander, FAR and Beyond Compare can open and extract the files correctly. P.S. The first screenshot is from Windows 10, while the second and third are from Ubuntu.

    So we have a Catch-22 - there tech support sent me here because the files work fine for them and thus the problem must be in 7zip ... edit1: So far it seems only Windows Explorer handles them correctly, tried a few other programs and a MAC Archive Utility without success. edit2: Further testing shows that Total Commander, FAR and Beyond Compare can open and extract the files correctly.
