Boy, that was fast. Thanks, Cameron. Looking forward to the update. If this fix works, then 5366 can also be closed. I guess they should be marked duplicates at the same time.

    PostgreSQL names not properly escaped

It sounds like the source has been changed to include relative references. I had a look at the file in my installation and that line is just "vendor/autoload". I don't think it will be anything Uwe has changed himself - this is probably a change that came about as part of changes to the Pear package. I'm afraid I won't be able to see what's necessary until I install the new version for myself and work through it, but I'm afraid I won't be in a position to do that for a while. I'm about to move to...

I apologise - still busy outside, though will be stopping soon due to lack of light. See if you can figure out how to turn on PHP debugging, so that PHP sends error messages to the browser. That may give you some information when it dies. Debugging shouldn't be on under normal circumstances, as the error messages gives the user information about the installation that may not be a good idea to share.

Hi Leon, I'm afraid I'm busy at the moment working on my roof, so can't do anything on my computer for around 12 hours or so. The error message though suggests a problem coming about because of permissions, the webserver, or the latest versions of PHP. If you look in the Apache log, you may get an idea of where it is dying, and go from there. Post the log, and I can look at it during the day.

My apologies, Ilia. I read your question again and realised I hadn't read it properly, which is why I couldn't understand what you were asking. Now I understand you were asking about the sql used to create the database, and the sql of a backup of the new database. Lots of differences - but I'm not sure they are meaningful - the dump program seems to do things in different order each time, so lots of the differences are just because diff can't keep synced. Looking at the two sql files manually in...

I'm not sure I understand you correctly. There would be differences, because in one the column names would all be lower-case, and in the other they would be mixed case. But that is to be expected, since those are the differences you created with the text editor. For example, this is is the first two differences that diff shows up in the files I created on my system to demonstrate the problem: ~/Documents$ diff Yii2TestBackupOriginal.sql Yii2TestBackupMixedCase.sql 53c53 < CREATE TABLE public."user"...
