Veracrypt has always been one of my favourite encryption tools since it came out . But I was wondering about the KDF which is ( from what I uderstood ) Whirlpool , Streebog , SHA512 , SHA256 . I know that it is iterated with the PIM , but still all of those hash functions are not really designed for password hashing and dont resist to many knowen attacks .
