this is the original source file I made a correction to my ffmpeg because this file is a 720p so I need to scale to 576p BEFORE the interlace filter so into the -vf command with the right order without alternate scan (dowload result) ffmpeg.exe -fflags +genpts -threads 6 -i '.\Ferrari Challenge Nürburgring Coppa Shell 1^Gara (720p,2min.).mkv' -flags:v:0 +ilme+ildct -vf scale=720:576,setdar=16/9,interlace=lowpass=1:scan=tff -c:v:0 mpeg2video -dc 10 -intra_matrix "8,8,9,9,10,10,11,11,8,9,9,10,10,11,11,12,9,9,10,10,11,11,12,12,9,10,10,11,11,12,13,13,10,10,11,11,12,13,13,14,10,11,11,12,13,13,14,15,11,11,12,13,13,14,15,15,11,12,12,13,14,15,15,16"...

Ok this is a link to use it a mp4 avc 576p@50 I don't know about HCenc before these test I don't burn too much Dvd so I will plan to use AVtoDVD to encode the video and DVDStyler to build the dvds. it's not an hard procedure, take more time indeed

There was a zip file with three test file. No one work fine as the last one. (can you relink the drop_field one?) Now the question is why dvdsytler do not use vf interlace=lowpass=1:scan=tff o vf interlace=lowpass=1:scan=bff because is the best solution to get a real interlaced video edit: I've tested by myself the avisynth script and it work fine (with AVStoDVD)

Yes, I confirm that I have not noticed any improvement over the other tests. The solution should be an interlaced format. Any digital television broadcast in standard definition, at least in Italy, is interlaced and the quality of the motion is also great for sports events.

Thank you again Drop Fields version has then best motion but my blu ray player device can't de-interlace it correctly. I'll go deeper into avstodvd

Thanks a lot for the reply The source is grabbed from a ESYNiC 120m HDbitT HDMI through a Sky Italia Q decoder and a Marantz SR7012 receiver this is the link to take a look into (A Ferrari Challenge race in Germany last week, 2min.) So my source file is a real 50P converted from 1080i broadcasting that is streamed to the extender in 1080p (1080/50i became a real 50p). This file is played fine with a Nvidia Shield (with 50 HZ refresh rate of course). The file in a 720P because if a 1080p/50 enter...

I tried with progressive, interlaced bff ot tff starting from an avc 50 fps saved from an Hmdi sender (720/50p). The source file work perfect but the final result with a dvd styler project is not perfect. Ciao il mio consiglio è quello di passare comunque alla versione Enhanced https://github.com/Red5goahead/VisualSubSync-Enhanced/releases perchè questa non è più supportata. Dopo di che nell'area Issues di questa nuova versione possiamo eventualmente discutere se ci fossero ancora problemi
