As a simplified example if column 1 containes a list of values and I set the value of column 2 = max(col("1") returns the value of col 1 at each row instead of the maximum value in column 1.

I'm trying to migrate my lab to SciDAVis from Origin, and I'm hoping someone can help me understand the difference in writing formulas between the two. My data takes the form of a single column with ~1000 entries. To normalize my data in Origin, I would set the column values using a formula such as (A-Min(A))/(Max(A)-Min(A)), where A is the column and Min and Max return the minimum and maximum values found in the referenced column. I have tried doing this in SciDAVis, but so far I have been unsuccessful....
