    Here is what I did. Made products with negative integers. -.01, -.05, -.10, -.25, -1, -2, -5, -10, -20, -50, -100 in a dedicated catagory like "lotto paid". Used code 128 barcodes for each EG pd001, pd002, etc. Printed to a sheet and hung on the front of terminal. When there are payouts I just scan in the appropriate values to make up the winnings. This way the winnings are added to the transaction as products. Works very smart for our lottery validations. Our online lotto has no useful barcodes...
