Referring post https://sourceforge.net/p/art/discussion/352129/thread/29217e59ec/?limit=25#7f29. As part of an earlier exercise we could do a PoC, as per the responses we got in this post. Thank you very much. We were trying to brush up that activity with the latest ART, but we couldn't see this Calcite option listed. Would there be any alternative, if Calcite support as it existed earlier has been backed out.

In a particular PDF generation requirement (this is not related to ART deployment, but a custom development) for a customer, we'd seen that an upgrade move to iText-5.4.0 was required which was analysed as best/easy suited to meet that requirement. But AGPL 3.0 was the license seen for iTex-5.4.0 and hence we had to face a few licensing/copyright challenges. Yes, we understand that iText2.x as you pointed out is LGPL. So, is it okay if we take it that ART would be continuing on this iText version....

Saw the ART response in the thread https://sourceforge.net/p/art/discussion/352129/thread/32338cde5e/?limit=25#65e9 that upgrades are brought in to many libraries, so that the they could pass the scans that happen for vulnerabilities when deploying in highly secure environment(the other thread mentions about HIPAA and PCI). Another query related partly to that same thread was with regard to the copyright/licensing , one especially related to iText library. Suppose if ART deployment is to be done...

Wouldn't the highlighted configuration bit in the screenshot attached, be where we'd be needing to give the JSON files location?

Thank you very much. So, the JSON files located in the folder as represented in the screenshot attached, is what that needs to be chosen, to design/generate report. It could be the Mysql lexicon based SQL constructs that could be used. It would be great if there are Demo report samples that could be referred to understand a bit more on this.

The JSON earlier shared is to indicate possible nesting that may need to get addressed. We're sharing you another JSON which was referred for a report template. Pfa - 1. data2.json - sample content 2. jr-json-rep-tmpl.png - report layout
