    Hello, I have just run into the same problem. After some research I concluded, that the culprit are prerequisites. If your task has any other tasks(s) as prerequisite, then it will always get deactivated after program restart. I see two bugs here: 1) Upon manual activation of task that has uncompleted prerequisite, program should show an error message saying "First you need to complete following prerequisite(s): ..." and prevent from activating the task.     Let me warn you from using absolute paths. Sooner or later you will run into troubles with it. For instance - you can not move your linked files on the disk, because it will automatically break all links. I had this problem after system reinstall, when the catalogs changed their names (due to different language localization settings). That taught me to always use relative links. I always keep files linked in mindmap in subfolders under the main .mm file folder. This gives me perfect portability....
