Hello Volker, i got the problem, it was due to a reprojection error when downloading with Google Earth Engine. Downloading the data in original projection und using the following tool did the trick : Porjection -> Proj.4 -> UTM Projection to get the goal grid system, i used the faulty versions grid. Worked fine for me. Thanks for the Help !

Hello Volker, is there a correct or best way of reprojecting ? i found some new artifacts in my reprojected data and do not know how to handle it. my Process: i take SRTM original Data in EPSG 4326 reproject it to an UTM near my study site ( EPSG:32631) resample the Data with bicubic interpolationg apply a Function like TPI, or Slope and yet still there are artifcacts, even in the slope but in the original projection, there are no artififacts in slope yet there are Artifiacts in Topographic position...

The Reprojected version in EPSG:32631 show parallel lines in a diagonal fashion. The patterns are also visable in Slope, but not in the original DEM Is there another projection worth trying ? My data are from France, as is EPSG:32631. Pictures of ruffly the same place from Flowaccumulation, Slope and Elevation in the Attachments I recreated the artifacts in Earth Engine and deduced their origin to the reprojection. A slope calculated from the original projection wont show artifacts. Edit: the origin...

Dear Volker, you are right. The Artifacts remain in the singel image. I will try my Project projection EPSG:32631 = UTM Zone 31 I always thought the original projection was most usefull for computation. Thanks!
