qtrans should support .index files like /usr/share/dictd/freedict-eng-deu.index but quits with a memory dump. The issue have to be repaired.

For icons qtrans needs the package "oxygen-icon-theme". In Settings->Distionaries->"English Dic Path" one needs the path to "english.dic" dictionary (see Project Samples #1). I installed qtrans 0.3.2.7-1 in Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 from SuSE-link and it works well with .dic dictionaries. If you use .BGL dictionaries you can get sometimes "Speicherzugriffsfehler" error.
