Hi, Revit 2020.1 and 2020.2.1 IfcExporter 20.1.0.1 When creating an IFC we get the message ungroup. That is not what we want. In the IFC exporter, the option store the IFCGUID in an element after export is enabled. If you disable this, you will not receive an ungroup message. When creating a new project and groups, you will not receive an ungroup message when creating the IFC. It only occurs in a couple of Revit 2020 projects. Could it be because the IfcGuid parameter property VariesAcrossGroups...

We use to coordinate a project empty models with only levels and grids in the project. This worked well with the 19.1 exporter but after installing 19.2 we only get the lowest level with only there grids in the IFC. "Normal" models where everything is modeled in a model, all levels and grids will appear and are not an issue. Is this a bug or feature?

Hi Andy, By using phase filters you can only make the demolished elements visible. But with export of visible elements only, nothing is exported. The workaround with the parameter only works if you do not put them anymore on demolished. If you do this, the revit function with phases will no longer work. Then we have to arrange everything with the parameters. What I find strange is that the software Revit or the ifcexporter (I do not know which) decides for the user that demolished elements should...

We use two phases. Existing and New. To show the demolished elements, the phase must be set to New. If it is set to existing than the demolished elements are not shown.

Hi, We want to make an IFC with only the elements of a demolition phase. If you create a 3d view with only the elements that are demolished then with the export option only elements visible in view, nothing is exported I suspect that it is by design, demolished and temporary elements will ultimately not be present in a project. We make now a workaround with parameters and filters but in revit nothing is put on the demolish state. But is it possible te make it possible te export demolished, temporary...
