I too have run into this issue. It occurred after running into a general DB issue. The app wouldn't download any songs, even after a reinstall. This occured with all users on the server. The fix was to purge the DB, then reload the MP3s. After the music reloaded, some of my playlists were empty. Some contained a few songs. None contained all songs. In addition, the playlists which shows as empty have a file count and duration. Exported playlists only contain the visible files. I am planning on recreating...
