Ok, have run through the test again, log is attached. I'm happy to do any further testing that you might like to do with this card to work out the issue. Just let me know what you need me to do :) Thank you again for your time and help with this, CrazyCat.

Thank you man, I've gone and updated everything to the latest versions from the test folder

Ahh, Silly me.... I didn't take note of the "SE" variant on this model. Well spotted man! Thank you for adding support for this card. I gave it a whirl with the latest test build and the program recognized it, the RF/FFT scans completed ok. No joy on the blind scan, it spends 100 odd seconds searching, then returns a 0 channels found result. Pics added with the new StreamReader.log file Interestingly, I've done some testing and found that the TBS blind scan program doesn't work with this card either,...

Hello, Trying to get CrazyScan to work with my TBS6910, but it gives an error everytime. The Wiki says it is supported model, but it just will not work. Any idea what's wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached the StreamReader.log file.

    Ettus B100 Errors

  • Psynewaves Psynewaves posted a comment on ticket #38

I grabbed the latest drivers from Ettus. I use the instructions from their website - add the Ettus repo, sudo apt-get update, sudo apt-get install libuhd-dev uhd-host. I think its at 4.3.0 now. However... I did tinker with the uhd and soapyutil probes and noticed that it would pick the RTL-SDR first, then if I unplugged the RTL, it picked the SDR Play, then if I unplug that aswell, it saw the Ettus B100. Running CrocHunter with -d showed it grabbing the ettus if everything else was unplugged. If...

Yup, thank you for your help, that worked a treat! I stuffed up earlier following the build guide which broke a lot of things apparently :D Everything else from the video got me going with absolute RFCN's etc. only thing I struggle with now is pointing srsUE to the Ettus. I have an RTL-SDR, and SDR Play Duo and the Ettus all connected, but after installing the UHD drivers, srsUE looks for the bladeRF and crashes when it cant find it. In the older version of Dragon OS - 'Soapy' was the king of my...

Copy that, thanks man. I did try to run the virtual environment as per the readme, it threw an error about "no module 'coloredlogs' or similar.... But i did try this waay later iin the process and I'm not sure if this is a pip/pip3 command I need to run first. I'm just burning the image back onto the SSD now. once it's done I'll give it another crack. Thanks you very much for your help man. Loving all the the goodies packed into this release!

Strange... if it's an MSI motherboard mine needed the drive to be set from AHCI to RAID, then hit Ctrl- i straight away on (legacy) boot to go to the raid config, then chose disks to add to raid, set stripe and click go. Though... some earlier RAID kits were limited to the disk size you could use, yours might be 128gb limited. limitations with the raid controller I guess...? I'm not sure why, but mine is definitely limited. I don't think I can go over the 3x500gb array that is in there now. I'm guessing...

Yeah, this sounds similar, excluding the dual boot intentions... but yes it seems to be on par. Damn shame about the RAID driver! I wonder what happened there....? It's not a complete show stopper, there are a few alternative options to resolve this If there is no way to work with the RAID. The system does have a separate 1TB SATA drive I could use, or I could pull the drives out of RAID, or just stick with R26 for now. The only bonus is the drive speed, those m.2 RAID drives are stupidly fast for...

Ok, I've tried installing without internet, same issue. Pic attached. Hash checks out and matches the posted one. Exit at initramfs prompt gives an error: "Gave up waiting for root file system device" - That bit I understand... but it doesn't make any sense why, I hit ls at the prompt and it returns a list of directories. One thing I did notice in my testing, when going between R26 and R 27.1 is that the R26 installer always sees the other OS on the drive and asks if it should install side by side...

Thank you for getting back to me man, I really appreciate it :) I will check your suggestions and see what I can find out for you. I think I have seen this error on a few vintages, but it's never bothered me. It's always booted past it no worries. Not sure if it helps, or matters - but the images get written to my flash drives with balenaEtcher which does a verify before completion... for testing purposes, however, I definitely will double check the hashy hash. Cheers man :)
